Africa Netpreneur Prize Initiative
The Africa Netpreneur Prize Initiative ANPI is a prize competition for African entrepreneurs, founded by the Jack Ma Foundation. For the next ten years, the ANPI will search for impactful emerging businesses and entrepreneurs across Africa culminating in a finale where ten finalists will have a shot at US$1 million in total prize money. The Prize aims to support and inspire the next generation of African entrepreneurs across all sectors, who are building a more sustainable and inclusive economy for the future.
The Next Economy Program
The Next Economy is part of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Local Employment in Africa for Development (L.E.A.D.) programme. The Next Economy is a collaboration between SOS Children’s Villages, 1%Club, Enviu and GoodUp. The Next Economy empowers youth in Nigeria, Mali, Somaliland, Somalia and Kenya to unleash their talents, build their confidence and hone the skills they need for a successful career in a job or as an entrepreneur. A Technical Vocational Education Training (TVET), which seeks to solve the Nigerian unemployment situation and empower youths is sponsored by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Facilitated by NINE in Nigeria. NINE has implemented The Next Economy program and within the last Three (3) years and the program has reached over 2000 youths across Five (3) cities within Nigeria.
Next Economy Pre-incubation Program
In March 2019, we began the NINE pre-incubation program, the bi-annual program aims to build the businesses of 60 Nigerian youths from Ideation – product development – validation to business model generation. Supporting start-ups in Agriculture, Agri-Tech, Education, Fashion and IOT.
Digital Entrepreneurship Round-table Series
In March 2019, We held a series of Digital Entrepreneurship round table in partnership with the World Bank Group. The pilot program was held to ascertain the growth of the hubs in the Digital Economy and to discuss the challenges of the hubs in this Economy.
Women in Business Digital Entrepreneurship Round-table
To commemorate the International Women’s Day 2019 #BalanceforBetter. We held the Women-in-business Round table, this dialogue session convened female entrepreneurs, leaders and subject matter expert and provided a safe space for an open and free-flowing discussion, the identification of potential drawbacks and challenges of the digital economy and its state of gender inclusiveness in Nigeria.
Hub Management 101
The Hub Management program is designed for Hubs looking to transition from Pre-incubation to full Incubation and Acceleration, Hub Managers, Stakeholders in the Hub community, Aspiring Hub owners and tailored to suit the needs of new and existing Hubs. The project which began in June, 2018, was implemented in Abuja and Aba. In January 2019, We implemented the hub management program in Lagos, Nigeria in partnership with IBM DNA, Africa’s Talking and GoodUp.

Blended Learning Services For YOUR Hub
Does your hub or business want to provide real value to start-ups and small businesses? Does your business aim to foster a community of skilled entrepreneurs in your region? What if you could do it it better and more effectively? Blended learning is a model that combines online and face-to-face learning spaces and experiences. Taking advantage of online learning materials can be an effective way to achieve these objectives and provide relevant, value-adding services to your hub users. For instance, trainers can prioritize their time on more important things like 1-on-1, more impactful interactions. The blended formats can be adapted according to content, scale, technology, resources and learning spaces. The blended learning workshop has been implemented in Nigeria in partnership with VC4A and Butterflyworks.
